Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026Applies to hosting, domain and email services

This policy sets out what you can and can't do with EazWorld's web hosting, domain, and email services — so we can keep our infrastructure safe and reliable for every client who shares it.

01

What This Policy Covers

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to anyone using EazWorld's web hosting, domain, or email services. It sets out what you may and may not host, send, or do on our infrastructure. It forms part of our Terms of Service — a serious or repeated breach can lead to suspension or termination of your account under the terms set out there.

02

Prohibited Content

You may not use our hosting, domain, or email services to store, publish, or distribute:

  • Content that is illegal under Ghanaian law.
  • Child sexual abuse material, or any content that sexualises a minor.
  • Content that promotes or incites violence, terrorism, or hatred against a person or group.
  • Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
  • Content that defames, harasses, or threatens an individual.
  • Fraudulent content, including fake storefronts, counterfeit goods, or investment scams.
  • Content that violates the privacy of others, including publishing someone's personal data without their consent.
03

Prohibited Activities

You may not use our services to:

  • Send spam or unsolicited bulk email (see section 4).
  • Distribute malware, viruses, ransomware, or any other malicious code.
  • Carry out phishing — impersonating another person, business, or brand to obtain data or money.
  • Launch or participate in a denial-of-service attack against any system.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another account, server, or network — ours or anyone else's.
  • Run cryptocurrency mining or other activity designed to consume a disproportionate share of shared server resources.
  • Resell or sub-license hosting capacity without our prior written agreement.
04

Email and Bulk Sending

Email hosted or sent through our infrastructure must comply with reasonable sending practices:

  • Every recipient must have opted in to receive your email.
  • Every marketing email must include a working, honoured unsubscribe link.
  • You may not harvest, buy, or scrape email addresses for a mailing list.
  • Sending large volumes of email that trigger spam complaints or get our mail servers blacklisted may result in your account being suspended, since it affects every other client sharing that infrastructure.

For a dedicated bulk-sending campaign, talk to us first — we can advise on a setup that will not put shared infrastructure at risk.

05

Resource Limits

Shared hosting plans are sized to support normal website and email traffic for the business they are sold to. If your usage — CPU, memory, disk I/O, or bandwidth — consistently exceeds what is reasonable for your plan and affects other clients on the same infrastructure, we will contact you to discuss upgrading to a plan suited to your actual usage before taking any other action.

06

Malware and Compromised Accounts

If we detect malware, a security vulnerability, or signs that your account has been compromised, we may suspend the affected service immediately to protect our infrastructure and other clients, and will notify you as soon as reasonably possible with what we found and how to resolve it. You are responsible for keeping any software you install (CMS platforms, plugins, themes) up to date and secure.

07

Copyright Infringement

If you believe content hosted on our infrastructure infringes your copyright, email us at info@eazworldgh.com with: a description of the copyrighted work, the URL of the infringing content, and your contact details. We will investigate and, where the claim is valid, remove or disable access to the content and notify the account holder.

08

Consequences and Appeal

Where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may, depending on the severity:

  • Warn you and ask you to fix the issue within a set time.
  • Temporarily suspend the affected service.
  • Terminate the account for a serious or repeated breach.

Where time allows, we will tell you what we found and give you a chance to respond before taking action. For an urgent risk to our infrastructure or other clients (active malware, an ongoing attack), we may suspend first and explain afterward.

If you believe a suspension or termination under this policy was a mistake, email info@eazworldgh.com with your account details and your explanation. We will review and respond within 5 business days.
